Hello, I’m Adeline Mucci, the founder of AdvocateU — a platform built from both passion and personal experience. I am also a Higher Education Academic Advisor, with firsthand experience guiding students through the many paths available beyond high school.
For much of my life, I didn’t fully understand what “higher education” truly meant or how many doors it could open. It wasn’t until I pursued my master’s degree at 54 years old that I began to see the full picture — the systems, resources, and opportunities that exist to help students thrive.
That journey changed everything for me. It opened my eyes to how many students and families, especially first-generation learners, feel overwhelmed or unsure about their next steps after high school. Through AdvocateU, my mission is simple yet powerful: to meet every student where they are, without judgment, and guide them with empathy, honesty, and encouragement.
I believe that college is one path — but not the only one. Trade schools, apprenticeships, certifications, and vocational programs all offer valuable routes to success and self-discovery. Everyone deserves access to the knowledge, tools, and support needed to make confident and informed decisions about their future.
Every day, I continue to learn — from students, colleagues, and even strangers. Life itself is a classroom, and we are all students within it. My hope is that AdvocateU becomes a place of guidance, empowerment, and connection for all who are ready to take their next step.
